One of India’s most prominent Sufi saints, Hazrat Makhdoom Sheikh Sharafuddin Ahmed Yahya Maneri Rahimah-Allahu ta’ala, is called Makhdoom-ul-Mulk and Makhdoom-e-Jahan for his spiritual status. He spent at least 30 years in the forests and lived on herbs and fruits Hazrat Makhdoom finally took abode at Bihar Sharif.
